The Stonecutters Cottages sit atop Doonagore, a spectacular high point which has views to the Atlantic Ocean, the Aran Islands, the Burren and the music village of Doolin. It is situated on a quiet country road with nothing but gorse and fresh air.

The cottage dates from just after the famine and was lovingly restored a few years ago. Staying here is like going back in time. The renovation preserved as much of the original character of the cottage as we could and we have bought many period pieces to keep the cottage authentic.

This charming 1 bed accommodation is laid on 1 level and sleeps 2 people comfortably.

Doonagore is on a height above the village of Doolin with roads that run to Lahinch and Liscannor.There are fantastic views all around and great walking; all from the front door.

- Aran Islands: Take a ferry from Doolin to visit the Aran Islands (Inis Mór, Inis Meáin, Inis Oírr), known for their rugged landscapes and cultural richness
- The Burren: Explore this unique limestone landscape with its distinctive flora and ancient archaeological sites
- Doolin Pier: Enjoy a stroll along the pier, take in the scenic views, and perhaps catch a boat tour to explore the Cliffs of Moher from the sea
- Doolin Music House: Experience traditional Irish music in an intimate setting at one of the local pubs, where live music sessions are often held
- Doolin Cliff Walk: A scenic coastal walk that provides stunning views of the Cliffs of Moher and the Aran Islands

IMPORTANT NOTES

1. Heating and Electricity:
This is an extra charge which is mostly payable to the Property Manager/Owner. In some cases, energy is charged at a fixed daily rate or a rate per unit on the units consumed or you are required to top up a Pre-Paid Meter while in others, energy charges are included in the rate you have paid. We advise you to check with the local Owner/ Property Manager prior to arrival how this is calculated or prior to making the booking.

2. Security Deposit:
A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid prior to check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner. This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival. In some locations and at certain times of year this can increase to €500 per property.
